We
Can Help
We have been successful in treating many spinal, structural, and energetic conditions.
Here are a few of them.

hip flexibility and poor body mechanics

common cause of disability for individuals

Scoliosis
Scoliosis is a lateral curvature of the
spine that may also contain a rotational
component. Scoliosis may also be characterized
by an abnormal degree of hyperkyphosis/hyperlordosis.
Approximately 2 percent of the population
has scoliosis. If someone in a family
has scoliosis, the
likelihood of another family member having
it also is approximately 20 percent.
There are three types of scoliosis. By
far the most common type is idiopathic,
which means an "unknown cause".
The vast majority of scoliosis is developed
in middle or late childhood, before puberty,
and is seen more often in girls than
boys.
Scoliosis may not be preventable. Early
detection and treatment during a child's
growing years is the best way to prevent
an existing problem from getting worse.
Many adults who suffer from scoliosis
experience increasing levels of pain
and dysfunction as they grow older. Cathy
has been very successful in treating
these related compensatory patterns and
restoring greater symmetry, balance,
and ease of function to the body and
spine. Both children and adults who suffer
from scoliosis can benefit from this
work.
Forward Head Posture
The
repetitive use of computers, TV, video
games, trauma, and even backpacks have
forced the body to adapt to a forward
head posture.
People with uncorrected FHP can potentially
suffer conditions such as muscle strain,
disc herniations, arthritis, and pinched
nerves.
